THE SMALLEST HEART WITH THE BIGGEST LOVE

Since I was a little girl, I've always yearned for the companionship of a dog. It didn't matter what breed, although schnauzers held a special place in my heart due to my fond memories of my Granny's bearded little schnauzer. The mere thought of having a four-legged friend filled me with pure excitement. However, during my younger years, it seemed that fate had other plans as my parents were not keen on the idea.

Fast forward 30 years, and my lifelong wish finally came true. After being in relationships where having a dog was still not possible, I found myself in a position where the only person who could stand in the way of my dream was me.

My son had always yearned for the love and companionship of a furry best friend as well. The stars aligned, and I embarked on an eight-hour round trip to bring home our very own chocolate schnauzer fur ball.

For all the fellow dog parents out there (yes, I use the term "parents" because these four-legged beings rely on us just as much as any child would), you understand the level of commitment and effort that comes with owning a dog. Yet, the rewards are beyond measure. Their unwavering companionship during difficult times, the laughter they bring, and the vibrant life they infuse into our homes is truly priceless. We all know how strangely quiet and empty our homes feel when they are not around for any reason.

Our family has since grown to include another adorable member—a feisty and cuddly miniature dachshund. With these two "fur babies" by our side, our hearts have expanded even further, and we haven't looked back since.

I take great pleasure in drawing, designing and producing items for our homeware collections that reflect the inclusion of our furry companions as cherished members of the family. These pieces proudly showcase the depth of my love for dogs, demonstrating to the world the special place they hold in our hearts.

We shower them with affection, squeezing them tightly, and planting kisses on top of their small heads. They deserve every ounce of love we give them, and in return, they unconditionally fill our lives with their own brand of pure, heartfelt love.

So, to all the fellow dog lovers out there, let's celebrate the smallest hearts that possess the biggest love. Cherish these fur babies, for they truly enrich our lives and remind us of the boundless joy that can be found in the simple presence of a beloved pet.
